The Funchal Marathon is part of a popular running event also including a Funchal Half Marathon and an 8K Mini Marathon.

Funchal Marathon Route
Starting at Rua do Gorgulho, runners follow an out-and-back course on to Estrada Monumental and along coastal roads. They retrun close to the start line, finishing in front of Empresa de Eletricidade da Madeira.
