The Leipziger Winter Marathon is a team marathon with teams of three runners. Teams can be all male, all female or mixed.

Leipziger Winter Marathon Route
Runners follow a loop course through Clara Zetkin Park, past horse-racing track and across the Elster flood plain. Each loop is 5K and partly paved, being run eight times.
