The Riga Marathon is a World Athletics Gold Label race, and attracts many runners from other countries. As well as a marathon, the event offers half-marathon, 10K, and 5K races.

Riga Marathon Route
Starting at the Freedom Monument, runners follow a one lap course through the city. Passing many of Riga's cultural sites, including Brivibas Street, Jauna Teika and Mezaparks, and the Vansu and Akmens bridges the race finishes at the 11 November Embankment.
