The Banff Marathon offers marathon runners an amazingly scenic race, in Canada's first National Park. There are also half marathon and 10K options.

Banff Marathon Route
Based in Canada's first National Park, the Banff Marathon takes runners on a stunningly scenic route in the Canadian Rocky Mountains.

Starting in picturesque mountain village of Banff, runners follow an often hilly, but also continually scenic, course through the surrounding natural scenery, full of wildlife and significant historical sites. Passing by the serene Vermilion Lakes and alongside the stunning Bow Valley Parkway on it's way to the finish line back in Banff, it isn't difficult to see why the route is often described as "the most beautiful run on the planet".
