The Snow Marathon, hosted by the Trans-Himalayan Kingdom of Lahaul, is Asia's only and world's highest Snow Marathon.

Snow Marathon Route
Starting from North Portal, runners head out on a two lap course towards Khoksar and Gramphu. With a mix of level roads, river-valley floor, trails and hill ascents and descents, the route takes runners up the Manali-Leh Highway, then higher up to the whitewashed hill link roads across the monasteries and open snowed over fields and meadows and then down to the semi-frozen Chandra River.
