The Spice Coast Marathon is widely praised, being considered as one of the most beautiful marathons. There is also a Spice Coast Marathon and a fun run.

Spice Coast Marathon Route
The races follows a course that allows runners to experience "the bliss of the sights, sounds and oh! even the smells of the headquarters of the ancient spice trade"

Starting at the K K Premachandran Sports Complex, runners follow a route "winding through the streets of old Kochi and meandering through all the historical locations of the Muziris".
