Sydney Marathon

The Sydney Marathon is a popular marathon, showing off many of the city's interesting local sites. There is also a Sydney Half Marathon, 10K and 3.5K family event.

As of Novemeber 2024, the Sydney Marathon is now one of the Abbott World Marathon Majors.



Sydney Marathon Route
Runners follow an urban point-to-point course, starting at Bradfield Park, Milsons Point and finishing in the Sydney Opera House Forecourt. En route runners pass many of Sydney's iconic landmarks including Sydney Harbour Bridge, Centennial Park and the Botanical Gardens.

* Registration Deadline : The entry ballot opens at 10:00 a.m. AEDST on 10 December, closing at 11:59 PM AEDST on 30 December.
