The Sea of Galilee Tiberias International Marathon was first run in 1977. There is also a half marathon and a popular 10K race.

Tiberias International Marathon Route
The race follows an out-and-back course along the Sea of Galilee. Starting and finishing in Tiberias, the course takes runners along the southern shore of the Kinneret, including the Barniki and Shikmim Beaches, up to Ein Gev and back.
