The Solway Coast Marathon is organised by Sport in Action, who also organise the Kirkbride Half Marathon and Kirkbride 10K, which also run on the same day.

Solway Coast Marathon Route
The race is described as "probably the flattest marathon in the country".

Starting and finishing next to the White Heather Hotel, Wigton, runners follow a flat and fast, one lap course on local country roads. Passing through an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) they are sure to enjoy the wealth of natural scenery on the way to the finish line.
