The Town Moor Marathon is a traffic-free race organised by the North East Marathon Club. There is also the option of running the Town Moor Half Marathon.

Town Moor Marathon Route
The course follows a traffic-free seven-lap route. Starting behind the Boathouse on the Town Moor, it takes runners around Newcastle upon Tyne's historic Exhibition Park and Town Moor.
